Job Description:The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.An exceptional full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity is available in Lima, Ohio within a growing cardiovascular program dedicated to advanced heart and thoracic surgical care.This role offers physicians the opportunity to join a collaborative team of cardiology and critical care specialists delivering high-level surgical services to a regional patient population.This position is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible cardiothoracic surgeon seeking strong procedural volume, long-term career stability, and a supportive multidisciplinary environment.The physician will perform complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries while working closely with cardiologists, intensivists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.The program emphasizes clinical excellence, advanced surgical techniques, and patient-centered care, allowing surgeons to build a thriving and impactful practice.Job Responsibilities • Perform cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures involving the heart, lungs, and chest• Manage comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care• Evaluate patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans• Collaborate closely with cardiology, anesthesiology, and critical care teams• Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment plans as necessary• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records Qualifications • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery• Eligibility for Ohio medical licensure• Strong xevrcyc expertise in cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures• Commitment to patient-centered surgical care and outcomes Working Hours Full-Time Physician PositionSchedule includes surgical procedures, inpatient care, and collaborative cardiovascular program responsibilities.
