This role leads engineering initiatives focused on improving throughput, reducing inventory, lowering operating expenses, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes and automation systems.This position combines technical expertise, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent product quality aligned with customer specifications while advancing operational excellence.Key Leadership RolesPrimary ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership to Manufacturing Engineering and Automation teamsLead and mentor manufacturing and automation engineersEstablish engineering priorities aligned with production, quality, and business objectivesCollaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical challengesDevelop, implement, and optimize casting processesDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations or yield issuesApply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughputLead initiatives focused on cellular manufacturing and labor cost reductionIdentify and implement advanced technologies including automation, additive manufacturing, and AI-driven process monitoringEvaluate equipment upgrades and automation opportunities to improve process control and efficiencyDocument technical work, prepare technical reports, and maintain engineering standardsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeMinimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
