Lab Technician

Qualifications: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lb repeatedly throughout the shift Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods Ability to operate industrial equipment Ability to accurately follow written procedures (SOPs) Good organizational skills Strong attention to detail Strong communication skill Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to accurately weigh materials, record production data, and perform basic calculations using standard units of measurement (grams, kilograms, milliliters, liters, and percentages). PREFERRED SKILLS Prior laboratory or cultivation experience Experience handling cannabis biomass (flower, trim, etc) Familiarity with cannabis product terminology Familiarity with solvent handling, particularly ethanol Willingness to learn new processes Duties: Mill biomass Pack biomass into filter socks for extraction Clean filter socks with ethanol Clean equipment with ethanol Filter and recover ethanol Maintain cleanliness & organization of equipment, work stations, and storage areas Ensure correct labeling of cannabis biomass Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Laboratory: 1 year (Preferred) Location: Long Beach, CA 90813 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
