The VFX Supervisor is the technical bridge between ZenaTech's drone systems and modern production pipelines. This person advises productions on how ZenaTech drones can supplement or replace traditional visual effects — autonomous tracking shots, swarm visuals, and real-time aerial coverage — and ensures drone-captured footage integrates cleanly into post-production workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise productions on how ZenaDrone systems can supplement or replace traditional VFX work, including autonomous tracking shots, swarm visuals, and real-time aerial coverageDefine and document integration workflows that move drone-captured footage cleanly into editorial and post-production pipelinesServe as the technical point of contact between Zena Studios, ZenaTech engineering, and external VFX houses or post facilitiesDevelop demonstrations and proof-of-concept sequences that show productions what ZenaTech drone technology can deliverSupport the BD Lead on technical scoping and feasibility for prospective production engagementsCollaborate with the Drone DP to plan shots that maximize the creative and technical value of ZenaTech systemsStay current on VFX tooling, virtual production, and emerging capture technology, and recommend how ZenaTech should position against it.Required QualificationsExperience at a major or boutique VFX facility — for example ILM, Weta, or an established LA VFX houseStrong working knowledge of modern VFX and post-production pipelines (compositing, tracking, virtual production)Ability to translate between creative requirements and technical capabilityUnderstanding of camera, lensing, and on-set data workflowsComfortable presenting technical concepts to non-technical production stakeholdersPreferred / Nice to HaveHands-on experience with drone or aerial capture footage in a VFX contextFamiliarity with ROS2, autonomous flight systems, or robotics-driven cinematographyVirtual production / LED-volume experience.
