Apply via Dice today!Indirect Procurement ManagerIntroduction:The Indirect Procurement Manager role is crucial in developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals. This position focuses on enterprise procurement of construction services supporting large-scale capital programs ranging from $3B to $4B. The ideal candidate will have experience in approving purchase orders up to $10 million and will play a key role in driving performance, cost savings, sustainability, and supplier diversity.Responsibilities:Establish a high-performance team to develop strategic portfolio and category plans for cost savings and service excellence.Oversee contract spend across multiple categories and develop short and long-term strategies for all spend categories.Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiation strategies.Monitor and maximize customer satisfaction through standardized client service level agreements.Approve purchase orders and contracts ranging from $500,000 to $10 million.Directly supervise Sourcing Supervisors, Category Leaders, and Sourcing Specialists.Develop work processes and procedures aligning with organizational requirements.Requirements:Minimum:Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience required (one year of experience for every year of college).8 years of total sourcing or related industry experience; technical/category experience may be required.Preferred:MBA or equivalent advanced degree.Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, and Utility industry.10 years of total sourcing experience or related industry experience.5 years of supervisor experience.SAP/SRM proficiency.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve implementation barriers.Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
