Occupational Therapist Location: Bismarck, ND Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,606 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapy Specialty: Pediatric Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year pediatric experience License: Must be licensed in the state of practice as an Occupational Therapist Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Must-Have: Pediatric experience Description: Assesses clients and designs occupational therapy treatments. Helps clients to develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform life tasks. Conducts evaluations and provides interventions for clients with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments. Evaluates physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients. Develops realistic therapy goals and administers appropriate occupational therapy programs. Documents client information for evaluation and establishes therapeutic plans. Modifies plans as necessary to enhance client outcomes. Provides education to clients to improve understanding and functional outcomes. Utilizes appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations tailored to client needs. Incorporates current research into daily treatment practices. Demonstrates flexibility with work schedules and assignments. Participates in activities to promote the department and organization. Interacts with providers, case managers, family members, and other relevant parties. May supervise assistants, aides, and students in providing care and treatment. Performs other related duties as requested by management. Uses electronic medical record systems for charting and documentation. Adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines and departmental policies. Demonstrates a commitment to providing high-quality care to all clients.
