Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty:Med Surg Discipline:RN Start Date:04/20/2026 Duration:13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift:12 hours, nights Employment Type:Travel Position Details Facility:Deaconess Midtown (with potential to float to Newburgh and Henderson campuses) Contract Length:13 weeks Shift:12-hr Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Start Date:4/20 (Bi-weekly orientation) Guaranteed Hours:36 per week (48 acceptable upon request) Float Requirement:First to float within skillset to Deaconess Newburgh (8 miles) and Henderson, KY (11 miles). 2-hour notice for cross-campus, mid-shift float is possible. Weekend/Holiday:3 weekends out of every 6 weeks; every other holiday. Ratios:Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:6-7 Required Experience & Certifications License:Active Compact License. Certifications:AHA BLS and NIHSS. Experience:Minimum 2 years strong Med/Surg experience, at least 1 travel assignment, and trauma level II experience. Charting:Recent EPIC experience required (will do a checkoff class). Patient Population:Med/Surg (post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, CHF). Skillset:Remote tele, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, Heparin drips, blood product administration, trach care, PCA management. GlassdoorUnit & Contract Notes Unit Culture:41-bed unit, experienced leadership, CNA support. Scrubs:Navy blue (no competing health systems or agency logos). Attendance:3 call-ins can result in termination. Teaching Hospital:May require precepting students or new hires. COVID-19:Vaccine not required (subject to change).
