This role operates within a single family office environment, serving as a key point of execution and coordination across the client’s financial ecosystem.The Senior Associate is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, supporting reporting and close processes, and ensuring accurate, timely, and well-coordinated financial outputs. This role partners closely with Reporting Managers, Advisory, and Tax to deliver a seamless, high-touch client experience while maintaining strong control over financial data and workflows.Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship and SFO SupportServe as a primary day-to-day contact for clients, delivering responsive and high-quality serviceOperate within a single family office model, supporting a wide range of financial and operational needsCoordinate with external advisors including tax, legal, and insurance professionalsAnticipate client needs and proactively manage requests and deliverablesFinancial Operations and Bill PayOversee client bill payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentationManage vendor relationships and cash disbursement workflowsIdentify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial activityMaintain organized records and audit-ready documentationFinancial Reporting and Close SupportSupport monthly and quarterly close processes across multi-entity structuresPrepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and supporting schedulesPerform quarter-over-quarter variance analysis and support explanation developmentEnsure alignment and consistency across client entities and reporting outputsInvestment and Cash Activity OversightTrack investment activity, capital movements, and cash flows across client entitiesReconcile custodial data to general ledger activityMonitor liquidity and support cash flow visibility for upcoming needsSystems and Data Integrity (Sage Intacct Focus)Maintain accurate and timely financial records within Sage Intacct or comparable systemsReconcile system data to external sources including custodians and banking platformsIdentify data breaks and partner with teams to resolve discrepanciesSupport standardized processes across systems and workflowsInter-Entity and Reconciliation SupportTrack and reconcile inter-entity transactions and balancesSupport identification and resolution of inconsistenciesEnsure clean, fully reconciled data across structuresCross-Functional CoordinationPartner with Reporting, Advisory, and Tax teams to ensure aligned financial outputsSupport preparation of client deliverables and reporting packagesReduce rework by ensuring accuracy and completeness of inputsProject Management and ExecutionManage multiple client workstreams with strong organization and follow-throughEnsure all assigned tasks are completed, documented, and closedMaintain clear communication across internal and external stakeholdersRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required4+ years of experience in family office, private wealth, public accounting, or financial servicesExperience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients in a client-facing roleExposure to multi-entity structures and financial operationsExperience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting systems preferredStrong Excel and analytical skillsExperience with reconciliations, cash management, and financial reporting supportStrong attention to detail and ownership mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities across complex client environmentsComfort working in fast-paced, high-expectation environmentsClear, professional communicator with strong client presenceAbility to coordinate across multiple teams and external advisorsHighly responsive and service-oriented approachStrong service mindset with client-first orientationAbility to operate within a single family office environment with complexity and ambiguityFocus on continuous improvement and process disciplineWhat Success Looks Like:Client financial operations are executed accurately and on timeFinancial data is clean, consistent, and aligned across systemsDeliverables are completed with minimal rework and strong attention to detailClients and internal partners have confidence in responsiveness and executionIncreasing ability to operate independently across client relationshipsVisa Sponsorship: Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for the position offered.
