Special Educator (Birth - Grade 2)

What qualifies a provider? A Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited university. Valid Teaching Certification: Students with Disabilities ((Birth - Grade 2) certificate, TSSLD or TSHH. At least one (1) year of experience working with children aged 0-5 years and their families (preferred). DOH Approval is great, but not a must. Ability to efficiently set and manage a caseload, process documentation in a timely manner and effectively communicate with families and Bloomer Health personnel. Salary Information: For an ABA 60-minute session: $78-$80 per hour - with DOH approval $70-$72 per hour - without DOH approval For an Extended 60-minute session: $76-$78 per hour - with DOH approval $68-$70 per hour - without DOH approval For a Basic 30-minute session: $58-$60 per 30 min - with DOH approval $50-$52 per 30 min - without DOH approval Benefits: Flexible schedule Health Reimbursement Arrangement Commuter Benefit Professional development assistance Referral program Flexibility and Schedule: Choose your own hours After School Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location: In-person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Provider Responsibilities The Special Instructor/Educator (SI) will be working one on one with developmentally delayed babies and toddlers who qualify for Early Intervention services. They are expected to utilize their knowledge and skills to help the child reach their milestones and goals, educate and guide parents and caregivers to ensure carryover between sessions. Prescribed sessions are from 1-5 times per week for 30 or 60 minutes. Who are we?
