Legal Counsel, Procurement
We are seeking an exceptionally intelligent and commercially‑minded Legal Counsel to join our team. This role requires a sharp legal mind with extensive experience in commercial law, particularly in negotiating and reviewing complex vendor agreements. You will be instrumental in protecting the company’s interests while enabling business growth through strategic legal support.
Qualifications
Rigorous legal training at a reputable law firm and best practices
Significant experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, and other commercial contracts
Understand business objectives and can provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice that balances risk with opportunity
Quickly grasps complex issues, identifies risks, and proposes creative solutions
Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities
Writes and speaks fluent English
Remote work experience is not required but considered a plus
Key Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate a high volume of vendor agreements, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation
Provide strategic commercial legal advice to business stakeholders across the organization
Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes to scale efficiently
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to support vendor onboarding and management
Identify legal risks and opportunities in commercial relationships and provide clear, actionable guidance
Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial contracts in multiple jurisdictions
