They are dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly creative and visionary Product Development Manager to lead the creation, refinement, and execution of furniture and home décor products from concept through production. This role bridges design, sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing, ensuring products are commercially viable, on-trend, and delivered on time.The ideal candidate has a strong eye for materials and form, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to manage multiple product programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesLead product development from concept, design intent, and material selection through sampling, testing, and productionTranslate creative direction and market trends into commercially successful furniture and home décor collectionsPartner with design, merchandising, and sales teams to define product roadmaps and line plansEnsure all products align with brand standards, quality expectations, and cost targetsCommunicate with factories & sourcing agents to negotiate pricing, monitor quality control, and navigate any curveballs that may ariseCollaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and sales to create cohesive campaigns and marketing initiativesStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of creativityPresent ideas and concepts to executives, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions and long-term goalsManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standardsDesign systems and process improvements while following design guidelines to ensure consistencyPartner with design, merchandising, and sales teams to define product roadmaps and line plansEnsure all products align with brand standards, quality expectations, and cost targetsNegotiate costs, MOQs, lead times, and packaging specificationsMaintain strong relationships with suppliers while enforcing quality and compliance standardsQualifications4–8+ years of experience in product development within furniture, lighting, or home décorStrong understanding of furniture construction, materials, finishes, and manufacturing processesExperience working with overseas factories and import production cyclesAbility to read technical drawings, spec sheets, and prototypesExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong communication skills with cross-functional teams and vendorsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, and product lifecycle management tools (PLM experience a plus)Compensation Range: $85–110k/yearBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceWork Location: In person
