Maintenance TechnicianBill Rate: $22-$25/HR on W2 Hours: Sun - Tues and every other Wed 6:30am - 7pm with possible OT Location: 1367 Beech Rd, New Albany OH 43054Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: This is a construction environment so appropriate PPE is required Outdoor work is also common Team Overview: Candidate will work as part of a 2 or 3 person team Resource's typical working day: Building start up tasks Building and installing new equipment Initial hook ups Many repetitive tasks moving from one building to the next Licenses/Certifications: NFP 70E preferred CPR certified preferred Electrical certification preferred Must Have Skills: General Maintenance experience Nice to have skills: Lock out tag out Electrical experience Years of Experience: 3-5 years Education h.s. diploma or GED Interview Process: 1st round phone screen 2nd round virtual interview (Teams or Zoom)About the RoleAs a Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.What You'll DoAssist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed.Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn't meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.Check Client for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.Building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's and utilities.Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures.Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
