Job DescriptionMain Purpose Of The JobAs a server, you would be responsible to takes care of guests during the length of their visit, mainly by recording and fulfilling their food and drink orders. A restaurant server is responsible for creating memorable dining experiences. To do this, you need to be able to create rapport with your customers. You'll need to be personable, upbeat, and efficient, and be able to anticipate diners' needs. It's up to you to provide exceptional customer service. Being a restaurant server requires to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, want to provide amazing customer service and love working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Mian DutiesExceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service. Have a general knowledge of the food menu and recommend and upsell food and drink products Follow the steps of service of the server position Greeting and seating customers Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system Making menu item recommendations Communicating any food allergy or special nutritional needs to kitchen staff Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management when is necessary Performing side work as some cleaning duties, such at the service station and dining areaWorking ConditionsAbility to perform all functions indicated above. Be of legal age to serve alcohol Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment Must be eligible to work in the United States Must agree to background Be present in the critical and crowded hours in the operation of the restaurant, able to work lunch and dinner shifts. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holiday Expect to work more than 35 hours a week.
