The Account Representative is a sales professional responsible for developing relationships with physicians, healthcare staff, and community contacts to educate them about hospice services.The role involves analyzing business trends, implementing marketing strategies, and visiting referral sources to increase patient census.Key duties include educating referral sources, documenting activities, collaborating with teams, and expanding the territory through travel in South Florida.Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2-3 years of outreach or sales experience, healthcare knowledge preferred, and proficiency with office/clinical software.The position requires physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, travel, and attend meetings.Additional responsibilities include organizing educational meetings, representing the organization at community events, maintaining licenses, and complying with laws and policies.The role may involve interim supervisory duties and requires positive public interaction and teamwork.
