Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Houston for a Curriculum Writer. The Curriculum Writer will develop, review, and refine educational materials to ensure alignment with district standards and educational goals. Responsibilities include creating content for use in classroom instruction, conducting research on best practices in instructional strategies, organizing and formatting lesson materials, and collaborating with educators and instructional teams to deliver accurate and effective curricula. The position also ensures that academic materials meet diverse learner needs and strictly adhere to applicable frameworks and guidelines. Qualifications Experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and developing instructional materialsStrong research skills for identifying effective teaching strategies and aligning content with academic standardsExcellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills for high-quality content developmentCollaboration and interpersonal skills for working with educators and stakeholders effectivelyProficiency in educational technology, tools, and software used for curriculum developmentAbility to adapt curriculum to meet diverse learner needs and foster inclusivityBachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Previous experience in education and a strong understanding of K-12 academic content standards
