As an active member of the American Portable Diagnostic Association, we continue to set high standards in the industry.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Mobile X-ray Technologist, based in the Greater Syracuse-Utica Area. The Mobile X-ray Technologist will be responsible for performing digital X-ray imaging and other diagnostic tests at patients' bedsides in various healthcare facilities. Day-to-day tasks include operating portable X-ray equipment, ensuring radiation safety protocols, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with a team of experienced radiologists and other healthcare professionals. The technologist will prioritize patient comfort and quality care during all interactions.QualificationsCertification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Proficiency in Radiation Safety and compliance with related regulationsStrong skills in Radiologic Technology and Radiology practicesBasic knowledge of Medicine as it relates to diagnostic imagingAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to various healthcare environmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient careValid driver’s license and ability to travel between locationsExperience in portable or mobile X-ray services is a plus
