Position: Assistant General Manager Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 Schedule: Full-time | Evenings and weekends as required by business need Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, paid time off, and additional lifestyle perks Role Summary:We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to support operations within an upscale, service-driven restaurant environment. This role partners closely with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations, elevate the guest experience, and develop a high-performing service team. The Assistant General Manager will act as a key leader on the floor, ensuring consistency in execution, strong team engagement, and adherence to elevated service standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong operational instincts, and a commitment to coaching and developing others in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. What you bring to the table:Strong ability to lead front-of-house operations while maintaining a polished, high-touch service environment Proven experience acting as Manager on Duty, with full accountability for service execution and guest satisfaction Hands-on leadership style with an active presence on the floor during service Ability to uphold and reinforce elevated service standards, steps of service, and brand expectations Experience leading pre-shift meetings and communicating priorities, menu updates, and service notes Demonstrated success in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing service teams Strong coaching and performance management skills, including delivering feedback and supporting team growth Ability to build team culture, drive engagement, and foster a positive work environment Experience managing schedules, labor targets, and staffing levels aligned with business needs Working knowledge of inventory management, ordering, and cost control initiatives Comfort with POS systems, reservation platforms, and guest feedback tools Why you'll love working here:Opportunity to be part of a refined, guest-focused dining environment High-impact leadership role with visibility across operations and service Collaborative culture that values hospitality, accountability, and team development Competitive compensation and benefits package Growth potential within a dynamic and evolving hospitality group Required Work Experience:3-5 years of progressive restaurant management experience Minimum 2 years in an upscale or fine dining environment Experience leading front-of-house teams in a high-touch service setting Background in scheduling, labor management, and operational oversight Proficiency with POS systems and reservation platforms Preferred Work Experience:Experience supporting financial reporting, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation Familiarity with inventory processes and cost control measures Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Personal Qualities:Hospitality-first leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences Hands-on, service-oriented, and highly present during operations Strong communicator with the ability to lead, coach, and influence teams Organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented mindset Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
