Job Description Job SummaryManufacture customized products that meet customer specifications and install equipment. Full time, hourly position, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Immediate start.Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key AccountabilitiesTIG and MIG welding experience of 2 or more years.Lays out, positions and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and tape measure, etc.Tack welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.Examines specifications of the customer's order using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.Fabricates work piece as determined by work order specifications. Retrieves correct materials and performs various fabrication duties.Examines work piece visually, by touch, or using tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.Ability to troubleshoot welds and welding equipmentSelf-Motivated with the ability to work within a team environment or independently as requiredAbility to use precision hand tools, standard mechanical tools, and fabrication shop equipmentMaintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).Ability to climb ladders, stairs, work in small/restricted areas, and lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work overtime as requiredFollows company safety policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned.•Minimum QualificationsMust be a minimum of 18 years of age or olderMust pass pre-employment assessment(s) of welding capabilitiesUnderstand, read and write communicationsMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Education and Experience• HS Diploma or GED preferred.• 5 years of experience in area of responsibility.Preferred QualificationsExperience with fabrication shop equipment.Metal working experience preferred.Orbital Welding experiencePlasma and/or oxyacetylene cutting experienceBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPaid time offPaid holidays offRetirement plan after 3 years of serviceEmail your resume/application.
