Production General Helper (Casual / On-Call)

Food for Thought produces specialty foods such as preserves, salsas, sauces, and condiments in a clean food manufacturing environment. Our production team focuses on quality, food safety, and careful handling of ingredients.We are looking for a Production General Helper who would like flexible, casual work supporting our production team when extra help is needed. This role is ideal for someone who does not want a full-time schedule but would enjoy picking up shifts from time to time to stay active and earn some additional income.About The RoleThis is an on-call production support position. When production schedules increase or additional help is needed, we reach out to our casual helpers to see who is available to work. There is no fixed schedule and no minimum hours required.Because this is a casual role with flexible scheduling, limited benefits apply.Typical ResponsibilitiesAssist with food preparation and ingredient handlingHelp package, label, and box finished productsSupport production line activities as directed by supervisorsMaintain clean and organized workstationsFollow food safety and sanitation standardsWork EnvironmentThis role takes place in a clean, organized food production kitchen.
