Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Details 1+ years of experience. 50-mile radius rule. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year. LA license and Certification for MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AAB or HEW/HHS required. Required Experience: No experience required for graduates of a clinical laboratory training program approved by or accredited by NAACLS or other organizations approved by HHS OR 1 year of approved clinical laboratory experience which must include a clinical rotation through the following sections of the laboratory: blood banking, micro, chemistry, hematology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the US or with an accredited laboratory within the last 5 years. Required Qualifications Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist, Laboratory Experience: 1 year Licenses: MT-LA Certifications(At least one of the following): MEDTECH-ASCP(Copy Needed), CERT-AMT-MT, CERT-HEW SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year References: 2 References in entire work history Bachelor's Degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in the CLIA regulation 42CFR (includes U.S. Military laboratory training courses of at least 50 weeks) OR Education that has been evaluated by an acceptable credentialing agency and deemed equivalent to a US Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
