Accounting Manager

Job Description Overview We are seeking an experiencedAccounting Manager, General Ledgerto lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. This role will oversee general ledger operations, supervise a team, and partner cross-functionally to support a fast-paced, multi-entity organization.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage themonth-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Review and approvejournal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation Ensure compliance withGAAPand maintain strong internal controls Oversee preparation and review offinancial statements and variance analysis (P&L fluctuations) Manageconsolidations, eliminations, and intercompany transactions Review calculations forroyalties, bonuses, commissions, and intercompany agreements Supervise and develop accounting staff, including performance management and goal setting Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Tax) on financial and operational matters Supportaudit processes, debt compliance reporting, and ad hoc analysis Drive process improvements and maintain accounting policies and proceduresQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) 5+ years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting 2+ years of management experience Experience inmulti-entity and multi-currency environmentspreferred Strong knowledge ofGAAP and general ledger accountingSkills & Expertise Deep understanding ofmonth-end close, debits/credits, and GL processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills AdvancedExcel skills(pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Experience working inERP systems(JD Edwards preferred) Proven ability to work inhands-on, fast-paced environments, including manual processes Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsAdditional Details Hybrid schedule (initial in-office training period required) Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Company DescriptionThe client's infrastructure has plenty of areas in professional growth!
