Truss Driver - CDL

Truss DriverParticipate in the various activities associated with delivering trusses for residential and commercial projects. Key activities include: Delivering materials to commercial and residential customers including loading and unloading of materials, pulling material/building loads, truck maintenance and record keeping. Inspecting truck before and after trips and submitting report indicating truck condition. Maintaining truck log according to state and federal regulations. Safely navigating heavy construction and residential job sites. Following written and verbal directions and safety procedures. Maintaining a clean working environment. Adhering to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc. Performing other duties as required. Knowledge and skills include: Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to function effectively as part of a high-performance team. Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment. Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision. Education/experience includes: Previous experience in transportation of oversize and pilot escort. Clean MVR and current medical card. Class A CDL. Physical requirements include: Physical work requirements - heavy: exerting up to 75 lbs of force regularly. Repetitive impact motion associated with construction activities. Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
