Programmers.io is currently looking for an RPG ProgrammerHybrid role in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, United StatesFull Time Role - (DIRECT HIRE + BENEFITS)Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled RPG Programmer to design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG (Report Program Generator) on IBM i (AS/400) systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts and technical teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions that support core business operations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain RPG IV / RPGLE programs on IBM i (AS/400) platformAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical specificationsModify and enhance existing legacy applicationsWrite and optimize SQL queries using DB2Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuningSupport system integrations and data migrationsDocument technical designs and program changesRequired Skills & Qualifications:10+ years of experience in RPG IV / RPGLE programmingStrong knowledge of CL programming and embedded SQLComprehensive understanding of DB2 database conceptsProficient in working with AS/400 systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIf you are interested, please apply or feel free to share your updated resume at anas.khan@programmers.io
