Repair Operator

Repair Operator will comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE as well as understand & practice the Quality policy.Areas of FocusRepair Operator visually inspects batteries and identify possible defects that may cause inconsistent welds or other problems. Repair Operator will make minor repairs to battery elements and perform inspection checklist. Additionally, Repair Operator will anticipate, assess and troubleshoot batteries that may be rejected.ResponsibilitiesVisually inspect batteries for excess lead and assure balance and alignmentPlace shields on batteriesVerify and inspect for misaligned covers and assist heat sealer during full capacityOperate air hose to test for leaksOperate Forklift to move batteries offline to pallet; complete pallet label with appropriate model and part number; transport pallets to remote locationVisually inspect batteries and identify possible defects that may cause inconsistent welds or other problemsMake minor repairs to battery elementsPerform inspection checklistDemonstrate the proper way to remove the cover off a damaged batteryAnticipates, assesses and troubleshoots batteries that may be rejectedComply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPEUnderstand & practice the Quality policyBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentForklift Driver CertTraining certification(s) as appropriateComply with Blood Lead Health and Hygiene ProtocolsUnderstand and comply with correct lifting procedures which enable lifting to 50 lbsComply with Hazard communication proceduresIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
