You will actively engage in excellent customer service and foster respectful relationships with colleagues and guests alike.Essential FunctionsPrepare high-quality food items efficiently according to standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.Serve meals or prepare them for delivery, ensuring correct portion sizes, proper temperature, and appealing presentation.Taste all food items to maintain quality standards.Follow established ticket collection procedures during service periods.Maintain accurate records for your work area during service.Clean kitchen areas after preparation and serving, adhering to strict cleanliness and safe food handling protocols.Keep refrigerators and storerooms organized and clean, storing all food and supplies according to standards.Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.Assist with production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.Support ordering and receiving of food and supplies.Report maintenance needs, equipment issues, or accidents promptly to supervisors.Participate in in-service and safety meetings as required.Work collaboratively with coworkers, customers, and management to maintain a positive work environment.Perform all duties safely, maintaining a clean and secure workspace.Other duties as assigned.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferred, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience and SkillsAbility to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.Basic writing skills for simple correspondence.Effective communication in one-on-one and small group settings.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units of money, weight, volume, and distance.Common sense to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.Physical RequirementsRegularly required to stand, talk, hear, taste, or smell. Frequently required to walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
