Our goal has always been and continues to be to convert distressed properties into uplifted communities.Job SummaryUnder the direction of a trainer and/or a Property Manager, the apprentice Leasing Agent will learn the basics of leasing and foundational property management principles for the multi-family industry. They will also learn how to facilitate and conduct property tours and show apartments to prospects, lease apartments to qualified applicants, renew leases with current residents, and perform administrative duties concerning property management.Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School or GEDExperience: Must have six months of customer service experience.License/Certification(s): Valid state driver’s licenseKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: English and Spanish fluencyEffective interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skillsStrong computer technology skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookRequirementsPrincipal Responsibilities:Advertises available units and conducts property tours as part of marketing activitiesGreets prospects by professionally presenting the features and benefits of the communitySecures lease agreements from qualified prospectsExamines property and informs maintenance employees of issuesScreens prospect residents to ensure they meet eligibility requirementsCompletes lease applications and assists with verification of application informationEngages with residents to provide information and address complaints and concernsCompletes resident move-ins and move-outs in compliance with all company proceduresConducts unit inspections to ensure they maintain high levels of qualityAssists with facilitating renewals by communicating with residentsOrganizes and participates in community-related events and activities in the communityAll other duties assignedIndus Communities is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
