RWE Americas, LLCTo start as soon as possible, full time, permanentThe Project Execution Manager will be responsible for overseeing the PV and Battery Field Construction activities, including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural trades. This position plays a key role in the department by managing budgets, project schedules, ensuring safety objectives are achieved, and coordinating with customers. Specific key areas of focus include estimating, establishing subcontracts, supervising subcontractors and vendors, quality control, maintaining project schedules, and interfacing directly with the customer. The successful candidate will have a strong presence and ensure company objectives are achieved.Role Responsibilities:Develop, coordinate and manage project support services including but not limited to project design, budgeting, and scheduling; pre-qualification, selection, and management of contractors, subcontractors and equipment vendors; development and structuring of project-related contracts; maintaining close contact with the customer; and production of customer deliverablesManage phases of Projects in compliance with Contracts, maintain or enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure projects are completed on time and on budgetCollaborate with Engineering, Development, and Project Management teams in conducting design optimization and value engineering of clean generation projectsConduct constructability reviews and pre-construction site walksPerform cost estimating and purchasing functionsDirect construction contract administration and risk management activitiesManage budgets, schedules and invoicing, and other contract requirements to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetMonitor and manage jobsites compliance with the corporate safety plan, design drawings and contract agreementsEnsure all project-related documentation is recorded in the project directory and/or CRM as appropriateMaintain working knowledge of codes, new technology and internal company design standards/requirementsOversee various testing and quality assurance checks by Engineering or subcontractor staff to verify the quality of completed projectsJob Requirements and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a construction-related field from an accredited university preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferredMinimum 10 years of experience in Renewable energy projects in both PV and Energy StoragePrevious budget/schedule/performance/quality responsibilitiesSpecific experience with building energy systems including electrical, Civil, PV and Energy storage systemsExperience in the overall integration of Design engineering, construction, start-up, close-out, turnover and subsequent O&M of a variety of Construction projectsAble to travel up to 50% of the timeHas a valid US driver’s licenseStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationshipsExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and TeamsStrong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlinesStrong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverablesAbility to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a teamMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate and lead people from a diverse set of backgroundsResponds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachableIs detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business conceptsThis position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWE Americas offices and field locationsMust be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of timeApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
