Established in 2001 and repeatedly recognized as a "Best Place to Work," they are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented professional to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and high-level compliance.Ditch the traditional helpdesk grind for a strategic role focused on IT Alignment and compliance. You will dive deep into client environments to ensure they meet gold-standard frameworks like NIST, CMMC, and SOC 2, using your expertise in Microsoft 365 and networking to harden systems and mitigate risk.The Role Lead comprehensive IT audits and systematic discovery of client environments, including on-site inspections and technical reviews. Evaluate systems against rigorous industry frameworks including NIST, CMMC, and SOC 2 to identify security gaps and misconfigurations. Document complex IT architectures and configurations within the MSP knowledge base to ensure a "single source of truth." Produce high-impact alignment reports and risk observations, providing actionable remediation roadmaps for technical teams. Collaborate with internal engineers to implement security improvements and repeat discovery cycles to maintain compliance integrity.What You'll Need Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Google Workspace (GSuite) ecosystems. Solid understanding of Networking fundamentals and core business solutions including Backups, Endpoint Protection, and Cloud Security. Practical familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, CMMC, or SOC 2. Exceptional documentation skills and the ability to translate technical findings into clear, client-facing business recommendations.
