Warehouse Material Handler 3rd Shift

Material HandlerCentral Plains Steel is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support our shipping operations. This role includes pulling and assembling orders, moving and tagging material, loading/unloading trucks, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. This is a 3rd Shift Opening Physical Requirements Stand or Sit (Stationary position), Walk (Move, Traverse), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl (Position self (to), Move), Talk/hear (Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion Function in the Job Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function Pull, assemble, and package orders Load and unload trucks using forklift, overhead crane, and yard truck (training provided) Tag material and complete required documentation Perform quality checks and inventory spot checks Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all safety and operational procedures Required Skills Valid driver's license (required) 05 years of warehouse or material-handling experience Ability to lift 60100 lbs and work in hot/cold environments Ability to read instructions and perform basic math Able to stand for long periods and climb on/off trailers Basic computer skills High school diploma/GED preferred
