North Carolina Licensed Roadway Engineer

A company is looking for a Roadway Design Engineer to support and grow its Transportation Practice. Key Responsibilities Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans and coordinate design activities Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required PE preferred or the ability to obtain PE within 1 year of hire 4+ years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design Experience working with DOT design projects required; experience with NCDOT or ODOT is a plus Micro Station, Geopak, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) design software experience preferred
