As a Senior Field Service Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in the testing, maintaining, and repairing a wide array of electrical equipment, including low and medium-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor controls, and more. If you're ready to drive innovation and excel in a hands-on, collaborative setting, we invite you to apply!ResponsibilitiesProvide technical capabilities for testing relays, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control equipment, and related switchgear in the field, including synch check, point-to-pointPerform and lead a crew in the field for testing/maintenance/repair of breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and associated equipmentEnsures proper preparation and documentation for site projectsHelps evaluate department talent base, identify training needs, and recommend effective action plans for meeting performance expectationsIdentifies and secures equipment needs for shop/fieldProvides daily site summaries for site work in coordination with assigned project managerProvides weekly production status reports to project management, operations managers, and Service AssistantMaintains an understanding of the technical side of company core business needsAttend and contribute to project kickoff meetingsSupport budget adherence on projectsContinuously instructs and trains othersSupport the sales effort by assisting with labor estimates and job walks when necessaryRemain current on all safety and technical trainingQualifications3-5 years' related experience in power plants, industrial services, primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes.Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems experience.Licensures and Certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred.Education: High School DiplomaReference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications.Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors.Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).Valid Driver's license and good driving record.#LI-MM2Benefits & CompensationQualus benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays, for those who qualify.The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
