Director, Food Services
Description:
The Food Service Director will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the food service division for multiple store locations within our organization. This position will develop menus, order supplies and ingredients, monitor food safety and sanitation standards, manage and train Deli Managers, along with multiple teams of kitchen staff.
Develop menus, order supplies, and ingredients, and manage budgets to maximize profits
Monitor food safety and sanitation standards and ensure that kitchen staff adheres to all health and safety regulations
Train Deli Managers, provide guidance on scheduling and supervising kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed
Monitor and evaluate all kitchen staff performance, offering feedback and encouragement
Ensure that all food and beverage items are prepared according to recipes and specifications
Monitor inventory levels and ensure the kitchen is always properly stocked
Ensure that the kitchens are clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
5+ years experience in a food service management role in café/deli style kitchens
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
