CNC Operator
IDEC Elevator Products is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Riviera Beach, FL. If you have experience with steel fabrication, CNC press brake operation, and metalworking, and you're looking for a stable career with opportunities to grow, we want to hear from you.Join a team that takes pride in building high-quality elevator components while working in a collaborative, safety-focused manufacturing environment.What You'll DoAs a CNC Operator, you'll play a key role in manufacturing precision elevator components by safely operating CNC equipment and supporting fabrication operations.Responsibilities IncludeSet up, program (as required), adjust, and operate CNC punch and press brake equipment.Manufacture precision elevator components from sheet metal and steel plate.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.Determine proper tooling, dies, and machine setups for each job.Perform machine setup changes and adjustments to ensure quality production.Verify dimensions and maintain required sheet metal tolerances.Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine machine care.Ensure adequate raw materials are available for scheduled production.Complete production documentation accurately.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Work closely with supervisors and production team members to meet manufacturing schedules.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in steel fabrication, metal fabrication, or elevator manufacturing.Experience operating CNC press brakes.Strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.Experience selecting tooling and performing machine setup changes.Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and tolerances.Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.Career Development OpportunitiesWe're looking for team members who want more than just a job.This Position Provides Opportunities To Develop Skills InSteel fabricationWeldingCNC machiningWood shop operationsPaint operationsMaterial handlingCrating and shippingComplete elevator manufacturing processesAs your skills grow, so do your opportunities.Physical RequirementsCandidates Must Be Able ToStand and walk for extended periods.Bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.Use hands for fine motor tasks and operate hand and power tools.Frequently lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.Maintain visual acuity for precision measurements, blueprint reading, and quality inspections.Safely work around machinery and moving equipment.Work EnvironmentThis position is performed in a manufacturing facility that may include:Hot and humid conditions during summer months.Cooler temperatures during winter months.Exposure to noise, dust, steel fabrication equipment, and industrial machinery.A fast-paced, team-oriented production environment focused on quality and safety.Why Join IDEC Elevator Products?We believe our employees are our greatest asset.
