Actuarial Manager

The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Actuarial Pricing Manager with 6+ years of experience P&C actuarial experience, focusing on pricing for property and casualty insurance products. This is a Hybrid position with 2-3 days to a train accessible office in Chicago.COMPENSATION: 150kLOCATION: Hybrid (Train accessible downtown Chicago location 2-3 days a week)MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or relatedMUST HAVE: ACAS or FCASMUST HAVE: 6+ years of experience P&C actuarial experience, focusing on pricing for property and casualtyinsurance productsLIKE HAVE: Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) is highly preferredRESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead pricing activities for across multiple lines of business in both admitted and excess & surplus markets- Building out pricing functions to establish models and frameworks- Create actuarial pricing models and rating plans- Lead the pricing of new product development- Guide pricing for excess & surplus lines products- Analyze loss trends, rate adequacy, and key performance indicators by state and product- Identify emerging trends- Work with Underwriting, Claims, Product Development, etcEDUCATION:- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related- ACAS or FCAS- Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) is highly preferred- Experience with both admitted insurance programs and E&S lines- Strong regulatory knowledge- Experience in preparing / supporting state rate filings in the admitted market- Strong technical skills: Excel and actuarial pricing software- Some programming and/or data analysis language experience SQL, R, Python#JDP
