Job Description & RequirementsInterim Director, Quality Ethics & Compliance - DaysStartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $160000.00 - $170000.00Interim Director, Quality Ethics & Compliance Needed in San Leandro, California!The PositionAn Interim Director, Quality Ethics & Compliance is needed to lead hospital-wide performance improvement, compliance, and regulatory readiness initiatives.Reporting to executive leadership, this leader will oversee quality management, compliance activities, and regulatory survey preparedness.Key responsibilities include overseeing performance improvement and CQI initiatives, facilitating risk management and safety activities, managing regulatory survey readiness for TJC, CMS, and state licensing reviews, supporting physician peer review processes, preparing compliance reports, and serving as the primary liaison to the Regional Compliance Director.The ideal candidate will have extensive hospital quality management leadership experience, preferably within an LTAC environment, along with strong regulatory survey expertise and physician relations experience. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.RequirementsBachelor’s degree required.Active CA RN license required. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.Minimum of three years of recent Director of Quality Management experience in a hospital setting, preferably LTAC. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
