The commercial sales department is responsible for delivering the most effective cyber security solutions through protecting people and defending data across all channels including email, the web, the cloud, social media and mobile messaging.Role Overview: As a Commercial Sales Intern, you will utilize Sales Force, Zoom Info, Linked In, Outreach and other tools to increase the total addressable market, improve Sales Force Integrity, and generate genuine pipeline. You will work closely with Front Line Leaders and Account Managers to add new account & contacts, validate data accuracy, and prospect existing or new whitespace.Job Requirements:Gather intelligence for the territories and accounts that you will be responsible forComplete accurate tracking of data changes with current and potential customers in SFDCQualify and Develop outbound sales leadsPrevious experience with solutions that can be deployed in private or public clouds a plusAbility to build sales presentationsAttend sales meetings notating administrative action itemsExperience working with SFDC or other CRM is a bonusExcellent phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skillsPrevious experience working and succeeding in a goal-driven environment preferredCreate internal enablement content and collateralWhy Proofpoint?At Proofpoint, we believe that an exceptional career experience includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
