Sitework Superintendent

Our client is seeking a Sitework Superintendent to lead field operations on heavy civil construction projects. This role is responsible for directing grading, excavation, and earthwork activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate grading operations including excavation, embankment, drainage installation, and finish gradingSupervise field crews, foremen, subcontractors, and equipment operators to maintain production and scheduleReview civil construction plans and survey controls to ensure accurate grade and alignmentMonitor jobsite safety, quality, and productivity while resolving field issues as they ariseCoordinate daily work plans, equipment needs, and material deliveries with project leadershipRequirements3-5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on grading or earthwork operationsStrong ability to read and interpret civil plans, grade stakes, and survey controlsExperience with excavation, mass grading, drainage systems, soil stabilization, and aggregate basesFamiliarity with GPS machine control systems and grade-checking tools preferredProven ability to lead field crews and coordinate work across multiple tradesWhy Join Our ClientThis organization is a well-established heavy civil contractor known for delivering complex infrastructure and site development projects.
