As an intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, organization, and event management operations of our premium tailgate locations at Texas A&M University. Interpersonal communication skills, multi-tasking, servant leadership, and an eye toward customer service are foundational to the success of this position. A love of college sports is a big plus!Interns must be flexible with scheduling and be willing to work nights, weekends, and some holidays to accommodate sports schedules. Tailgate Interns are required to work all home football games during the 2026 season.This position will begin around July 1, 2026.ResponsibilitiesLearn and administer policies and procedures regarding admission, catering, maintenance, and other premium tailgate operationsAssist in managing designated premium areas on game days (to include every home TAMU football game, occasional additional events may vary)Prepare, organize, and maintain game day supplies and materialsCommunicate with tailgate operation crew, tailgate bellhops, university personnel, caterers, and guestsAssist the General Manager and Deputy General Manager regarding their clerical duties
