The Music Therapist provides individual, dyad, and group music therapy, while participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing a music therapy treatment plan, and collaborating with students’ treatment team. Joining the our team means entering into a dynamic and growing department of expressive therapists in which you will receive weekly individual music therapy supervision as well as expressive therapy group supervision.Qualifications Bachelors/Master’s degree in Music Therapy from AMTA accredited/approved program Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and Masters level clinician preferred (MMT, MAMT, MM) Strong clinical musicianship and client-centered/music-centered theoretical framework Experience working children and adolescents in a school setting preferred Ability to work independently at multiple sites within the agency Ability to communicate effectively and articulate using music therapy language with professionals/students/families Proven ability and working knowledge with Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPointBenefits per year Paid vacation days (15) Paid sick days (5) Paid holidays(12)
