About the Opportunity:The Senior Software Engineer (Data Platform) is responsible for maintaining and modernizing the performance data integrations that feed the Athlete Management System and the organization's data platform. This role ensures the reliability and resilience of existing vendor integrations while leading the migration to a new lakehouse architecture. The position directly impacts the quality and availability of performance data used for critical decision-making by sports and military personnel.3. Responsibilities:Own the reliability, resilience, and observability of existing performance vendor integrations, providing daily and on-call support for data issuesMaintain and improve C# .NET integrations with vendor IoT APIsIndependently coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve API-related problemsDocument and share knowledge to enhance team understanding of integrationsLead the redesign and migration of integrations from C# .NET to Python and integration into a lakehouse architectureEnhance integration architecture and security to comply with military IL4 and IL5 deployment requirements4. Requirements:7+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C# and .NETExperience designing and building scalable distributed architectures on AWS, including Terraform proficiencyProven experience with RESTful API integrations and OAuth 2.0 authentication protocolsAbility to manage technical communications with third-party vendors and deliver permanent fixesUS citizenship and residency required to support military customers5.
