Procurement SpecialistWorksite location: In-OfficeJob Type: Contract, 3-6 monthsLHH is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a booming organization in Nashville, TN! This role will support purchasing activities across the organization, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining strong vendor relationships and controlling costs. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership.Key Responsibilities:Manage the purchasing process for materials in accordance with company policiesSource, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and termsCreate, review, and process purchase orders; ensure accuracy and complianceTrack order status, resolve delivery issues, and manage supplier performanceMaintain vendor records and procurement documentationSupport contract review and renewal processesAnalyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunitiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and timelinesEnsure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standardsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (preferred)2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experienceStrong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skillsProficiency with ERP systems and purchasing software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, etc. a plus)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBenefit offerings include PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401K plan.
