Packaging Technician

SummaryBud's Goods and Services is seeking a Packaging Technician to join our award-winning team. The primary role of this individual is to package our brand of flower for sale into the retail and wholesale market in accordance with determined quotas. Duties will include but are not limited to: weighing, counting, labeling, packaging, and tracking cannabis product in raw material and finished goods form. The Packaging Technician will be under the responsibility of the Plant Manager at the manufacturing facility and will be directed by the Director of Productions.Core CompetenciesAttention to detail Production mindedExcellent organizational and documentation skillsAbility to work independently as well as with a teamDependable and hardworking attitudePunctual with reliable attendanceGood personal hygiene Excellent hand-eye coordinationJob DutiesWork on production lines to prepare, label, fill, weigh, seal, and box products, particularly the weighing and packaging of flower into 1/8th containers Perform all product-handling activities such as counting, packaging, sealing, labeling, placing products in boxes, and organizingApply labels to product according to proceduresAudit labels to ensure proper format and all information is present and in compliance with state regulationsPackage finished product in compliance with state regulations and company policiesWork with a scale to accurately weigh product and track numbersUpdate inventory logs daily and ensure inventory counts are accurateMaintain compliance with state regulations and company policies and SOPsCase packing products according to our packaging proceduresEnsure finished product meets our stringent quality standardsMeet determined quotas and timelines Maintain a clean and organized work environmentAssist management in other duties as assignedWorking Conditions/Physical DemandsAble to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
