Junior Engineer (Construction) - Structural EIT

Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities: As a Junior Engineer you will be an integral part of the Engineering team. Under the direction of our lead engineer, you will be collaborating on some of the amazing projects we build. This role will provide you the opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to our dynamic team culture. You may also be able to help with a raising or two on our job sites. Travel related to this full-time, non-exempt role will be less than 5%. This role will be based in our Walpole, NH office. Primary Responsibilities Perform structural analysis on light wood frame and small mass timber structures, including gravity and lateral analysis Size members, design connections, Plan and design foundations, floor & roof framing, and timber frame structures following construction and government codes and standards, using analysis software, excel spreadsheets, and 3d and 2d CAD drawing tools Provide technical advice regarding design, construction and structural alternatives to timber framers, carpenters, architects, construction managers, and sales associates Preferred Qualifications B.S. in structural, mechanical, or civil engineering Information Modeling Computer Aided Design study or experience E.I.T. preferred Construction experience preferred Additional Attributes for Success High attention to detail with the ability to complete assignments accurately, to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines, and to work independently and within a team setting Strong verbal and written skills Positive team player with strong problem solving skills and ability to positively motivate team to accomplish goals Strong belief in customer service and satisfaction Compensation & Benefits Salary Range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 a year Benefits include: medical insurance, holidays, paid time off, voluntary dental insurance, voluntary life insurance, voluntary short-term disability, 401(K) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Application Question(s): Why are you applying to this role?
