This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your craft and be a key player in delivering memorable moments for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. * Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. * Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS, Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders and cash transactions accurately. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. * Develop and suggest new beverage recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting, incorporating craft beer, spirits, wine knowledge, and mixology techniques. * Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy while balancing registers at shift end. * Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods such as banquets or catering events. * Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies to ensure smooth operation. * Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. * Contribute to a lively atmosphere by promoting specials and engaging with guests to foster repeat business. *Skills* * Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality industry environments; cocktail experience is essential. * Strong knowledge of beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends. * Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks seamlessly. * Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods without sacrificing quality or safety standards. * Food handling certification or knowledge of food safety protocols is preferred but not mandatory. * Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. * Experience in food service or restaurant settings including banquet or catering experience is advantageous. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
