Title: Quality Control technicianJob ID : 20798-1Contract: 12 -month contract with potential extensionCitizenship Requirement: US Citizenship requiredLocation : Chelmsford, MA - 01824Shift : 1st shift, Mon - Thurs 6:00am - 4:30 pmPay Rate: $30.00/hr on W2!Job DescriptionPerforms all types of inspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing, including but not limited to subcontracted and/or purchased parts. Must have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings/interpretation, math and instrument reading as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams. Must know how to use basic measuring equipment and instruments used to continuity check various assemblies/components including basic personal computing literacy. Is required to know and fully understand the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor. Must have a thorough knowledge of all paperwork/documentation associated with the aforementioned inspection functions, also must be able to properly document in a neat and legible manner, all types of errors or discrepancies found. Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and/or material and injury to self-and/or others. May require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Must maintain a neat and orderly work/inspection area. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:1) Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprint readings/interpretation2) computer literacy3) Must be able to identify discrepancies4) High school diploma okay, no degree required5) Manager prefers a candidate with an active secret clearance, okay with previously held clearance or will be required to start interim clearance process at offer stage.Desired Skills:1) Active J-STD-001 certification
