Production Manager
Job Description:We are seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in our Hattiesburg facility. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, maximizing first-quality product output, and driving continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency while minimizing scrap.Duties and Responsibilities: Production & Performance ManagementLead daily production to achieve: OEE: 80% targetScrap Rate: ≤ 2.2%Internal OQ: ≤ 1.7%Daily Output: ~75,000 lbsMonitor performance using systems such as Tableau, Webeef, and FactbirdAnalyze and troubleshoot performance gaps, downtime, and inefficienciesEnsure accurate reporting and accountability from shift teamsQuality OversightMaintain high product quality standards and minimize defectsParticipate in and lead quality reviews (Mon/Wed/Fri)Drive corrective actions for: Void defectsShell weight variationConcavity and structural issuesPartner with Quality team to resolve customer and internal issuesOperational LeadershipConduct daily production meetings: Shift pass down (7:15 AM)Management review (9:30 AM)Ensure adherence to housekeeping and equipment care standards: Routine cleaning and maintenance practicesTool organization and proper setupMaintain documentation control and audit complianceTechnical & Process ImprovementOversee troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issuesEscalate appropriately to Maintenance or Engineering teamsMonitor and improve line efficiency using data-driven methodsSupport new product launches and process improvementsEnsure downtime is properly documented and addressedTeam Leadership & DevelopmentHold technicians and supervisors accountable for performanceSupport training initiatives with technical and non-technical trainersFoster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solvingCross-Functional Collaboration1.
