Corporate Trust Regional Manager

Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the management, training, coaching and development for assigned region of Corporate Trust Relationship Managers.Serve as Lead Administrator for largest/key complex accounts, volume and/or client relationship to ensure high quality fiduciary services.Ensure the prompt and accurate setup of new accounts.Manage and provide guidance and direction to staff.Conduct performance reviews and recommend discipline as needed.Assign and adjust staff workloads.Responsible for interviewing, hiring & training.Resolve all administrative issues and provide support to any level client staff.Operate independently to service the largest clients and resolve the most complex issues.Provide day-to-day support to existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing for administrative fees, recommending fee increases, facilitating bond closing, handling cash and investment transactions, monitoring cash activities, providing debt service calculations, executing payment generation and follow-up.Recommend and submit new business for approval from the new business committee made up of the senior leadership team in Corporate Trust.Price business based on account structure compared to existing business.Disseminate financial information to the EMMA system (as required).Responsible for accurate/timely setup of issues on all systems, preparing accounts for compliance review and responding appropriately to compliance exceptions.Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate.Work with corporate legal, compliance and outside legal counsel to negotiate document provisions.Participate in cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles and provide support as needed.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsMinimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.10 years relevant experience.Preferred: Master's Degree, CTMC Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (previously CCTS certification).Work EnvironmentTypical office environment, some travel may be required.Supervision & ManagementSupervise a team of associates including hiring, coaching and development.Compensation Range$110,250.00 - $235,810.00Note: The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
