This position is not remote and will require you to commute to our facility in Walpole. Responsibilities And Duties Constant travel both locally and overnight to job sites throughout the U.S. and Canada Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LANs, WANs, and data communications equipment Troubleshooting system failures and identifying bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency Installing wireless computing networks, connections, and cabling Testing, configuring, installing, and documenting network equipment software and hardware Maintaining and repairing hardware and peripheral devices Inspecting LAN infrastructure and fixing minor or major problems Evaluating network performance and finding ways for improvement Performing upgrades and maintenance in live environments Providing customers with technical advice including network usage and comprehensive instructions Communicating with customers, colleagues and supervisors as required and reporting any matters requiring further attention to management Other duties as assignedQualifications And Skills IP addresses, Subnetting, VLANs HP Switch CLI Cisco Switch CLI Switch and router configuration CAT5/CAT6 cable terminations and testing Ability to carry/ lift over 20 lbs.
