Senior Power System Engineer – Simulation

Our client is part of a global conglomerate in the technology, engineering, construction, and financial services sectors valued at billions of dollars, specializing in engineering, procurement, and construction projects, high-tech manufacturing, digital transformation, and technology services.We are looking for a Senior Power System Engineer to join a leading Digital Energy Solutions team, supporting advanced power system simulation projects across transmission and distribution networks.Key Responsibilities:Perform advanced power system studies including load flow, short circuit, stability, and interconnection analysisDevelop and validate power system models for T&D networksSupport projects involving DER integration, microgrids, and energy storage systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality technical solutionsContribute to proposals, technical solutions, and customer advisory servicesDrive project execution, timelines, and deliverablesSkillsBachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus)5+ years of experience in power system simulation and analysisHands-on experience with tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, DigSilent, or similarExperience with DER, microgrids, or renewable integration is a strong plusProgramming skills (Python, MATLAB, or C++) preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work with global teamsAdditonal InformationTravel required: ~10–40%Exposure to international projects across the US and global marketsApplicants must be authorized to work in the United StatesSalary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
