Java ArchitectSeattle, WA - Onsite RoleKey ResponsibilitiesDefine solution and technical architecture for complex enterprise applications and platforms.Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture patterns.Develop architecture diagrams, technology roadmaps, technical specifications, and design documentation.Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, cloud services, and integration patterns.Design cloud-native solutions across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Define application, data, API, integration, security, networking, and infrastructure architecture.Establish architecture standards, design principles, reusable patterns, and technology governance.Lead technical design reviews and architecture review boards.Identify technical risks, dependencies, performance constraints, and opportunities for modernization.Partner with engineering teams to ensure architecture is implemented according to approved designs.Provide technical leadership during development, testing, deployment, and production support.Design solutions for scalability, availability, resiliency, security, observability, and disaster recovery.Evaluate legacy applications and develop modernization and migration strategies.Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containerization, and platform engineering.Collaborate with data engineering teams on data platforms, data integration, governance, and analytics architecture.Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, regulatory, and technology standards.Conduct proof-of-concepts and technical evaluations for new technologies.Mentor senior developers, engineers, and technical leads.
